  1. Looking really good Trev, now remember, "Do not go out in the ice"..... :giggle:
  2. I seem to remember Shifty fitted one of these lamp pods to the front of his Fabia, might be worth asking him if he had any problems with the local police?
  3. Class.......................... :giggle: :giggle:
  4. Oi Steptoe keep out of this, your Mk1 Octy vRS was obviously toooooo powerful for you, so you bought a Mk2 Trev, you keeping well???
  5. Now here is a suggestion, why not try and tempt Des with a straight swap:- The Red Devil in straight swap for a mint, low mileage, "UN-MODDED" Mk1 Octy vRS, the newer the better, perhaps a few £££££'s his way, or if it's a real minter then a straight swap. Think I am off my trolley, try him and see what he says??????????
  6. Yes, I remember only too well what happened to mine, but as I had sold it, it was not mine to worry about, why would I be gutted/annoyed, I had owned that well known car for over seven years, I felt more sorry for Trev, who was gutted when it happened as he had wanted my car for a long time.
  7. Having had this discussion over and over again whilst fishing with Des, he knows my feelings, on what is a very expensive folly, and is at the moment, just an item that sits on the drive to annoy a certain neighbour. Yes, it is a cracking car and having done quite a few miles in it, it is awesome when driven in anger, not that he ever would on a public highway A shame to break or sell, well yes in some ways, but not if its not going to get used, but as these are the two options if it's not being used, then perhaps those on here who want such a car, should make realistic offers to reflect what has gone into the building of it, or will it be the usual excuses, "I wish I had seen this before I bought my car" etc, etc, etc. Those who knew my modded Mk1 Octy vRS told me I was mad to sell it and I would miss it, but times change and we all move on, hence the number of the older members of Briskoda who pioneered the modding of the first Mk1 Octy vRS by trial and sometimes expensive error, but longer visit this site. This would have been an ideal track car for Briskoda as mentioned in an earlier thread, but seemed to be looked on as too fast, this I find a bit strange, and a slower cheaper car was fancied, strange as cheaper slower cars usually end up in banger racing, not track days. So why not make Des an offer he cannot refuse???????
  8. Yes, thats two of us that miss that car, still being a coffin dodger and still well, touch wood, and enjoying driving the £10 road tax milk float
  9. I sold you a better than nice red Octy vRS a long while ago...
  10. If you need a cat, I have one taken from my old Mk1 Octy vRS, when I fitted a full Blueflame turbo back system. Taken off at 25K and in perfect condition. If you need it, please give me a pm, but if it is the cat and Skoda want to replace it, just make sure your sitting down when they give you the exchange price.
  11. I ran 225/45/17 Toyo's for years on my old Mk1 Octy vRS with no problems at all, indeed most of the older members did as they were a lot cheaper than the 205's.
  12. Just had a week down in Cornwall, and just had to bring two cases of this back with me.....Suppose I must force myself to drink it........LOL
  13. Anyone remember or care to comment on the run back from the Impossible Performance RR day at Canterbury a while ago....LOL Or any of the runs to JKM for their RR days?? Fezboy, Andyrew, Tom etc??????
