The Skoda Assist ran out on my Octy vRS at the beginning of January when the warranty also finished.

I am still undecided what to do about the warranty side of things, however I did want some breakdown cover.

I travel to Europe about 5 times a year, so although I don't like paying the premium, I kind of need that European cover.

With a standard AA, RAC, Green Flag policy you either have European or you don't - you can't just add it for the day etc.

Anyway, wrote to Skoda Assist (which I'm sure is one person sat in the RAC office) about renewal.

Skoda Assist is full UK and full European coverage.

£89 for 1 year, £145 for 2 years.

No brainer really and I've just paid for 2 more years of coverage - very reasonable I feel.

Hmm might look into that myself as mine ends in March

If you had bought a year's warranty from Skoda does that not include a year's roadside assistance? The VW extended warranty works that way.

I keep getting told that Skoda don't actually sell extended warranty - you will be buying a 3rd party one.

So not sure if that includes breakdown of not.
