Having found out that the Octavia vRS does not come with an alarm as standard (immobiliser only), I have been looking into various alarm or tracker options.

I have just called my insurers (Tesco) and asked how much saving I would get on the insurance for the vRS with a Cat1 alarm or tracker. The answer was none!

Apparently, on the Octavia vRS, Tesco do not give any discount for any type of additional security :confused: - anyone would think it is not a nickable car!

As an aside, I found out that my monthly premium is going to be slightly cheaper than my modded Rover. Not bad for a jump in value from
