For those who have read my other threads Im looking at buying a PD140 Scout but some have said that the CR140 will be worth waiting for.

One thing thats going to sway my decision is when the CR140 will be fitted

Ive been researching for a couple of days & am getting various views between June & November

I read somewhere that it will be Autumn 2010.

The Superb gets the cr140 as of now (this is in Germany), so I suspect the Octy won't take that long to follow.

No answer I'm afraid but I did email Skoda in the Czech Republic yesterday to ask them this vey question - will report back if and when I hear anything!

I don't know what the original source is, but a local (Italian) acquaintance who is familiar with many foreign forums reported at the start of February that the factory would start fitting the 103 kW CR engine in the Superb starting week 9, and in the Octavia starting week 22.

The Superb prediction was right, so I expect that the first cars will be manufactured at the start of June and that we'll be able to buy them at the end of July, more or less.
