Hi all,

My uncle is going to take ownership of a new octavia L&K next month but in the mean time he is still using the jag. Now "sods law" has happened and whilst trying to get out of a parking space in the dark and wet (semi-blocked in) he caught the passenger door on a post.

The damage is not that bad, slight dent and scuffs which do show up. Now the question is does he try and fix it using one of this dent repair companies? If so can anyone recommend one? Or should he have a word with the dealer and see if they can sort it out at cost for him?

I would leave it to the dealer to sort out as that will most likley be the

cheapest option. Less hastle too
