getting to the fuse box

Featured Replies

hiya

any ideas how i can get to the back of the fuse box without taking the whole dash out?

tried taking the lights switch out but that does not give me enough room to get to what i need.

thanks

Open the door, then the panel on the side of the dash (the one the door normally covers when shut) has a little slot on the edge for a key or whatever to be pushed into. Just lever it out and tada, one fuse box.

Quite stiff and a pain to get back in, but thats how to get in.

I think he means behind the fuse box, but I might be wrong.

looks like ill be pulling the dash out then

Why do you want to be at the back of the fuse box may I ask?

No need to take the entire dash out, you can get a bit more access if you drop the lower part of the dash, the bit with the light switch/can holder and the panel round the pedals. HTH.

Tidy!

Is it possible to wire items up to the unused fuse holders so that the device is fused in there? (Would be better than those fuse holder things and having to strip the whole dash again).

i have positioned the fuse holder so you can get to the fuse by only taking the side panel off.
