Quick brush-up of a 1997 523i

Featured Replies

Had my work cut out here. Helping a mate try and clean up a 523i he bought. Was not sure what year it would be before I arrived but was faced with a swirly 1997 black beast. Couple of bad rust spots as well, and a rather manky bootlid that I never touched as it was a repaint job only!

Not bad for the money it cost, at all!! B)

All in all this took only 4.5 hours or so and in that time I :-

  • clayed the car
  • washed again
  • dried off again
  • machine polished (obviously not 100% job due to time)
  • Washed again
  • Dried again
  • Polished inside of glass
  • Trim gel on all the plastics
  • touched up small chips with black touch up paint

So all-in-all, not a bad way to spend a morning/lunchtime. Hope it sells on again for a good profit now. B)

That car looks really nice Jason, what's the asking price???
