Silver vRS with a LCR splitter picture request please!

Featured Replies

Can anyone with a silver vRS and a LCR front splitter post up some pics (idealy one that is lowered) so I can get an idea of how they look.

Have been looking at some red and black vRS's with them on and I must admit it gave me the horn.... :p :p

I just wonder how practical they are in a world of speed humps and grand canyon size pot holes.....

Cheers,

Steve :)

Not mine but i`m sure Phil wont mind. I`v had mine on my black one for 6 months now, done nothing but rip it off on bumps or drag it down the motorway after a drive round london. But now im realising the slower i go over bumps the longer it stays on its lasting longer. Also i have a habbit of forgetting which roads i cant go down anymore, mine is pretty low tho tbh

where is the best place to get one of these splitters?? B)

Seat dealers sell them for about £20

Agree with above, as keep away from them selling them on ebay for over double the price!!

You will also just need to trim the e centre supports to make it fit flush (they are just under the intercooler bit). I just used masking tape to hold mine in situe, and then marked how much to take off, and went from there. Certainly dont need to take the bumper off etc....just jack up the front, or use some ramps like I did to give yourself enough room to screw in the screws....

Also just used little self tapping screws to hold in place, as then if it does crunch on something, it will easily come off and not damage the bumper, but enough screws to hold it in place......and touch wood, never had any issues with ours, and been on for as long as I can remember now.....

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA, that`ll teach me for reading half asleep when i just woke up! sorry people! :D

For old times sake ;)

Word of warning though... as you can see my car is stock height yet a pile of horse **** on a dark Yorkshire road snapped the thing off. I also caught it quite regularly when driving around.

It looked great but I wouldn't fit one again.

here's some of mine
