Oxygen sensor and ASR light

Had the good ol engine management light come on the other day and apparently this was down to faulty o2 sensor and engine running too rich. The AA man reset them and its not come on since. However im also getting the ASR light come sporadically, say every other day and it doesnt seem to be linked to anything in particular, i.e hard revs or cold etc.

After searching on here am i right in thinking that these 2 could be linked to a leaky vac pipe or something?

As i said the o2 fault hasn't come on again which seems a bit strange.

Any help would be appreciated before i take it into the garage....the orange ASr light messes up the nice green look of the dials
