Hi there everyone, I've just purchased a 2005 Fabia VRS 92,000 miles on the clock with one owner from new, mint apart from a few stone chips and parking 'dings'. I'm bringing it back from Reading (where I work) to Newcastle (where I live) on Friday. I'm looking to get the bonnnet resprayed and dints removed at the weekend, just to finish iit off. I'm looking to get it remapped and possibly lowered a little too. My questions are, what springs do people recommend to get the car a tad lower without altering the ride too harshly, I've had coilovers on other cars and have them on my heavily modded Glanza V turbo. I'm looking to lower the Fabia a little and make it a bit less 'rolly' in the corners. I'm also just about to book it in PD Tuning in Boldon, near Newcastle.

Thet are offering a remap, panel filter, larger down pipe and RR tune for around £400, aiming for around 185-190bhp and over 300lbs foot. Can anyone give me any other tuners in the surrounding Newcastle area who'd give a similar service?

I've just sold my Super charged Monaro and bought a Smart CDi, took my Glanza V turbo to 260bhp and I'm looking to map the Fabia for my better half as her new commuting and tootling car.

The only other remap firm I know is MB Motorsport in Hebburn. They use Jabba Software, their address is on the Jabba's website. I have not used them, I just know the guy that runs it. Jabba is a well respected remap on here and they are a site sponsor.

I have a feeling he does not have a Rolling Road, I'm not sure about if they sell an uprated exhaust or filters, but you can ask them about it.
