ive had enough of the chrome look and want to paint my wheels black does anyone know the best way to remove the chrome? Or shud i just sand them down and hope for the best!!

To do it correctly would be expensive. Better to sell them and get the ones you want

Wheel refurber would have the gear to prep the wheels for the new paint, so would go along with that personally.

its a diy job im after doin there not worth what a proper re furb would cost and im not forking out for new rims but chrome looks crap and had i have known they were chrome i would never have swapped my standard rims
