The passenger side drain on my sun roof doesn't, drain that is, water pools there and then sloshes into the rear passenger foot well when I drive off.

I've tried to clear it by poking a straightened out clothes hanger down it. I got over three feet down but still the water didn't clear.

Where is the other end of the drain so I can attack it from there?

There's 2 drains, one down the A-post, and the other down the C-post.

You'll probably need to clean dirt and leaf much out of the void behind the arch liner at the front to make a difference.

I would try and avoid sticking a piece of metal that far down the pipes as they turn to rubber.... and might well have a hole in!

I suspect you more likely need to clean out the collection of leaves and mud at the back of the front wheel arch liner, as Ken says. Undo a few of the lower rear torx screws, pull the liner forward and pull out all the compost which has gathered from the opening at the top under the scuttle panel.

Fixed it now thanks. My drains emerge in the door hinge area, stuck a cotton bud in the end of a fat rubber teat that is accessible when the door is open and a load of crud and about a pint of stagnant water poured out.

The water in the sun roof area has now gone and not re-appeared.
