Hopefully will pick up my May 06 0ctavia vrs this week, cant wait!!

Now it was advertised in a Scottish dealership as having MP3 functionality and it came down to kent without.

A standard stream stereo with no aux in the jumbo box.

Options:

Stream MP3 - where is the best place to get one?

Bolero - Again where?

Any other options would be helpful

Also where is the best place to retrofit a aux port etc as it looks like it will be difficult to get inside the jumbo box.

Is there anywhere preferably close to Kent that I could have the work done if I decided not to tackle it myself?

I got a Stream MP3 HU from the bay of E for about 80 quid, and then used the method you see on the following youtube link:

Looks pretty OEM and is far less hassle than reaching into the jumbo box!

Very easy to do and for a snip under £90 altogether, far less than the 150 Skoda will charge to fit it in the box (and thats without buying the new HU!!)
