my asr light and abs light keep coming on then turning off when ever they want

i got a code of 00285

which brings up

ABS Wheel Speed Signal #2 (Right Front) - Range/Performance - G45

or ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Front Right (G45)

with out sounding stupid what wrong

Dodgy ABS sensor for your front drivers side wheel. They are about £29 from a dealer and can be replaced fairly easily but can be a bit of a pig to remove from the hub assembly.
