Had an eventful start to the day, jump into the fabia this morning, it starts first turn as per. Gets to the petrol station and turned off the car popped the flap and started to fuel. But the pump wouldn't work, tried 5/6 times and nothing. Go into the car to move pumps, turns the key all lights on start car and nothing. No clicking nothing! Tried another few times, says to the forecourt attendants and they arrange for a couple guys to come over from the shop (was a Morrisons petrol station) gets pushed to the other side of the garage. But I managed to get diesel out the pump first, so luck changed a bit lol

Breakdown company phoned, arrive quite qucikly and he tries it as he has to. Wiggled the starter motoring wiring and car fires. So he advised taking it straight to the garage and not turning it off till I get there. Gets to the garage turns it off, tried to start it and nothing again.

Thankfully they can look at it today and I'll have it back at the end of the day. Wish I had time to sort it myself as it'll be an easy fix! But not fussed as 13k of trouble free motoring so far

I've had a hellish week up till now (not car related), but a pile of shiny stainless exhaust pieces arrived today so that's cheered me up

Had an update, starter itself is gone so new ones ordered. Covered by my warranty thankfully otherwise it'd be £228 before fitting!
