started my vrs and i heard blowing noise from under where the dip stick is only lasted 1 min then went away...? also could this be the air pumps any info would be great full....thanks

that will be the SAI pump rivets have corroded causing the casing to come apart slightly - sounds like exhaust blowing if its bad. Easy fix, there are a few threads about it if you search. HTH

Not too hard you just need to take the cover off behind the bottom of the bumper to get to it (same as if you were doing an oil change). Unclip the hoses from the pump and unbolt the pump from the car, bolt the two halves together (replace the crappy rivets with bolts) then put it back on. Or read one of the guides floating about on here for how to remove the whole secondary air system, as WestallC said, I can't remember whose done it recently but think it was Bodge and RobClubley.
