clutch / flywheel question help

Featured Replies

Got a couple of questions for all you experts out there.

The clutch is slipping on my superb pb130 awx 52 plate 194,000 miles on origanal clutch.

Been looking around at the prices of clutches and was wondering.

whats the best clutch to get for this car (Iam a bit heavy footed ;) )?

Are the cheep ones on ebay any good or should I get a specific make, DOES IT MATTER?

whats the deal with the fly wheel single or dual mass should I replace it when the clutch is replaced should I get a single one and how will it drive after (any differance)?

Thanks for any input it will all be appreciated.

Sachs are probably the real OEM (even if the part is in a Skoda branded box).

I had a LUK DMF and clutch fitted by a independant fitter, to be honest it was only £100 less than Skoda quoted but they could do it straight away where as Skoda was a 2 week wait,

From what I can find out LUK are a OEM part and supply to most car manufacturers who use DMF clutches, I had never heard of them so found their website and their quite a big clutch manufacturer!!
