Does anyone in Aberdeenshire have a VAGCOM/VCDS and is willing/able to help me activate my DRL?

Should they not already be active? Its like having wipers that need activating. Odd.

Do you have a FL VRS? If so, then I would have expected them to be active. Would it be a case of using the indicator arm to switch them on? I saw something about that in a thread somewhere along the lines of pulling it towards you, then either up or down for turning them on/off.

(Might be in the manual?)

If you need VCDS, I'm sure we can arrange something.

If you have maxidot, check the setting there, if not:

Switching on daylight driving lights

– Switch on the ignition without turning the light switch out of the position

0.

Deactivate function daylight driving lights

– Pull the turn signal light lever towards the steering wheel up to 3

seconds after switching on the ignition and at the same time, slide it to

the bottom and hold it in this position for at least 3 seconds.

Activate function daylight driving lights

– Pull the turn signal light lever towards the steering wheel up to 3

seconds after switching on the ignition and at the same time, slide it to

the top and hold it in this position for at least 3 seconds.

MIght have to get my vRS to garage. just cannot get DRL led's to activate. not in maxidot and stalk method not working either :'(
