xenon headlight adjustment

Featured Replies

[i have just recently bought a 2007 superb elegance 2.0l TDI and when driving at night on dipped beam , I am being flashed at by oncoming traffic as the beam is too high and is dazzling drivers. Any tips on how I can re align the headlights to stop this happening. Any info at all would be much appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to Briskoda

You need VCDS to correctly align the Xenons

http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/xenonalignment.html

Have a look in the Vag-COM / VCDS forum to see if there is anyone in Essex who can help out :)

Thanks for this, I do have a good mechanic who I can pass this on to. cheers

BiXenons are brighter by nature, go stand to the right of the car about 100 yrds back and see if you think they are out of adjustment before you spend.

The Superb does not have Bi Xenon's, they are dipped beam only.

They are listed as bi-xenon though iirc?? and they do stay on when using main beam again iirc
