Yep unplug it from the back, underneath the plastic cover.

Basically the motor is shot probably due to water ingress. Common problem. I wrote a guide to fix it but it will break down again. Either replace with a new wiper asm or remove the wiper asm and plug hole with grommet depending on how much you use the wiper.

No problem, they are around £69 new from dealers. They even go for over £40 second hand.

bowders1.......Advised by local Skoda/VW dealer to disconnect battery for 30mins.to allow w/motor to re-set before ordering new motor.Fuse had already been out for over 24hrs.On replacing .......operation back to normal!!
