Bury cc9060 handsfree

Featured Replies

Just fitted my handsfree kit and I'm chuffed with it. Will post pics later. I was surprised how much room there was once the gearbox was removed.

1. Use junior hacksaw blade to release Skoda Symphony and pull out.

2. Undo 5 torx screws securing glovebox and then disconnect courtesey lamp. Place glovebox out of the way.

3. Fit handsfree brain behind glovebox, mine sat snugly against behind some cables.

4. Connect harness to brain and then stereo loom, check you have stereo code written down somewhere first. If not, you may want to obtain code from dealer.

5. Fit microphone to steering column shroud and thread cable through HU slot and connect to brain

6. Remove switch blank (no heated seats for me), cut a small groove in the bottom for handsfree control cable.

7. Screw handsfree control plate to switch blank, thread cable through HU slot and connect to brain

8. Swith on ignition, re-enter radio code, check it works.

9. Refit stereo and glovebox.

10. Check it still works, sit back and admire your handy work! Make a few calls....
