K&N Induction Kit Fitting (Skoda Felicia)

Featured Replies

So maybe I'm the only muppet who has given this a go but I've just fitted a K&N 57i to my 1.3 Mpi. It was a fairly easy process and if there's demand for it I will upload a step by step.

Anyone else given this a go or am I just odd!?

you're odd :p

has it made a difference ?

I dont think your odd, Pushrod 8v needs all the help it can get with breathing. It would be interesting to see where you have mounted it. My old Fabia 1.4MPI (Same engine) suffered very badly on hot days (Stock)

any pics?

I'll add photos at the weekend. It's improved the drive quite significantly and the engine seems to idle much smoother. Its sound pretty cool too. I've mounted it length ways where the original air box was. Seems to fit quite nicely however finding air ducting to connect the filter to the engine has been hard work! lots of crappy aluminum stuff that's too tin foil like out there!

i used the 63mm black plastic ducting off the standard 1300 airbox as a temporary measure on mine and it seemed to work ok

Yeah I did that at first but i really wanted to fit it a bit lower (so it can get air from all sides and not have the bonnet cover one side). So atm I have a expendable flexy aluminum ducting connected but it doesn't look great or fit particularly well. Going to try and find something better tomorrow.
