As far as I know it only works with another of the same! You can usually pick one up from ebay pretty cheap or even try you local breakers, they might have something.

I have the changer from my Octy sitting in my garage - maybe I should ebay it!

If you can't even get the cassette out, then maybe the rear window washer pipe has filled the rear of the car with washer water and made some of the contact pins in the plug corrode?

the leccy connectors do have a slight bit of corrsion on them i cleaned them up but no luck trying to get it to work to be honest it aint been working for a while but i always manged to get the cassette out to see if it was just the disks playing up
