Picked up today from All Electric in Kings Heath, Birmingham.

First impressions, fabulous. Engine feels tight, overall feeling of quality is outstanding, ride is firm but well damped, steering is perfect. 4x4 already utilised...getting up wet slope for picture location - out front garden.

Forgot all about the hill hold but it just kicked in on a steep hill start, great little feature!

Love the touch screen radio with the park sensor display!

Great news, hope you enjoy the car. Very interested that you chose to buy from All Electric in Kings Heath. That is my nearest dealer and the one in which I had one of the most negative experiences of recent years in a car dealership. I am sure that you dealt with a nice salesman but the one I spoke to was not pleasant. He basically stated that if I didn't order my Yeti through them then I could forget any special treatment for warranty or service work. When I asked what he meant he said that I wouldn't get a courtesy car and they would not go out of their way to sort any problems I may have with the car. I somehow think that the service manager would have taken a different approach to drumming up aftersales business.

It goes without saying that I bought from 120 miles away instead!

I did my order through Sinclair Skoda in Swansea - and it was SO painless. Great bloke. Chuffed, I am!!

All electric were ok, had my Octavia which I traded from there so they seemed to give the best deal. At least one that my more local dealer wasn't able to match.

Having said that handover was a little chaotic! But thats OK with us.....only problem is just been browsing the manuals to find the service book is missing. Kicking myself for not checking...oh well I dare say we will have fun tracking that down now.

From my previous, and some family members experiences the service department there are very good despite the lack of 'polish / flashiness' about the place.

P.S. Yepadoody....I am a LUCKY BA****D!!!! (for some reason that phrase always reminds me of Ade Edmondson in Bottom)
