  8. Good God earos - you're member title should be earache!! cos you're giving me one! Serious over-reaction and anger issues though man!! You need to take some anger management training or go into therapy if you are thinking of reacting react like this- it's hardly a calm road user on the loose is it?! Your reaction and any despicable actions you may take are your fault not theirs! Try this website: http://counsellingresource.com/ask-the-psychologist/2010/02/11/road-rage-and-stress-management/ In the Nuneaton /Bedworth area is some training that might help you:  http://www.findleys.co.uk/articles/road_rage_and_anger_management.html You say in a later post "Thankfully im old enough and wise enough to let bell ends like him go after such stupid antics behind the wheel." - what on earth else would any sensible road user or for that matter just fellow human being do?... apart from report the matter to the police immediately and let them deal with it. Anyone can miss signs especially if you don't know the area- road users- yes I mean you- should always be aware of other peoples potential actions and drive accordingly!! and if other drivers who obviously are not up to your high standard of road driving make a mistake/ error please be tolerent, kind, considerate... and that way you will not end up like Kenny Noye  Best wishes for calmer journeys in the future :sun: Lady Penelope
  9. Hi all, Copy of email recieved today from Skoda UK : "Thank you for your email dated 16 July 2010, regarding your Yeti. I can confirm that we have so far only had two Yeti cars with a reported water ingression issue on their sunroofs. Each of those cars issues are being dealt with by their Skoda Retailer and the appropriate repair will have taken place. As with all new model of cars, when an issue arises Skoda will fully investigate why the water ingression occurred and what needs to be done to rectify that issue, however at this stage we can confirm that there is no design problem and therefore these are isolated cases. If for any reason your car develops a water ingression problem then we would recommend that you contact your Skoda Retailer, who will resolve the issue under the warranty scheme. Thank you for contacting Skoda Customer Services. Kind regards Ian Watson Skoda Auto Customer Services" So it looks like just a couple of faulty ones for you two :'( ...so I will stop panicking levnclo  but I will still keep my fingers crossed for the rest of us! best wishes Lady Penelope
  10. Hi levnclo, I have been following your thread thinking (hopefully as we have a sunroof!) that your terrible problems were just a one off which was being sorted out by your dealer...but it now appears to be a more serious problem affecting potentially all Yetis with the panoramic sunroof? Are Skoda saying it is a design fault with all Yetis? or just yours? If I am reading it correctly?? if any Yeti with the sunroof was parked on your drive it would leak?? OMG :'( Surely they, Skoda UK, have to issue a recall for urgent repairs before the winter? and come to that Skoda Worldwide if this is a basic design fault? levnclo- could you post a picture where you park it and give a description of angle of slope, whether under trees etc... please so we all know what parking conditions may cause this problem? And please keep us updated re the fix- if it gets approved and most of all if it works!! You are staying so cheerful- it is to be admired  and I hope it all turns out ok in the end and you will be happy with your Yeti. Thomas29- I am so sorry to hear you are having the same problem :S - can you tell us where yours was parked, slope angle-if on one, under trees, in what weather conditions and where it leaked from and how much and post any photos of your parking area and the leak/damage please- I hope yours is also sorted asap with the fix if it is approved- please let us know of your replies from Skoda UK and Beadles and keep us updated as to what is going on- it will be much appreciated by us all who have sunroofs...as yet with no leaks but not looking good  Oh dear not a good start to my weekend :( - poor yetis...and leaking roof owners Lady Penelope
  11. Totally agree ap0gee- the marksmen were never going to shoot him- imagine the outcry ... unless he pointed the gun at them... when their duty is then to shoot to negate the threat- in my words to kill- and so it should be IMHO. Lady Penelope
  12. Try a spoon of local honey - it is supposed to contain the minute bee processed particles of the pollen that may be causing your hayfever... and by eating it starts to build up your immune system so it no longer reacts against the pollen in the air! I suppose based on the homeopathic theory of like curing like!
  13. In life threatening situations, such as this was, the police are only allowed to "Shoot to kill". They are not allowed to just wound or to shoot to attempt to disarm. Lady Penelope
