Drivers internal door handle

Featured Replies

I've been a bit annoyed by the drivers door handle plastic overlay peeling off and looking awful so I bought a new one from skoda for a very reasonable £12! Anyone being able to advise removal and replacement? A while ago I saw a post on removing door speakers and this was part of the procedure, but I cannot find the post now!

Just had most of my door cards off my self (apart from drivers door). Its pretty straight forward.

£12? think ill go pic up a set!

all my door handles are this wierd peeling/bubbling of that metal look plastic. and on the drivers door i some how managed to hit the mirror control stalk with my knee and cave the whole thing into the door. i fished it back out and reseated it, but in the process snapped that metal looking plastic surround. you cant tell, but it would be nice to have it fixed.

one of the passenger doors handles doesnt seem to operate the latch properly either.... it doesnt pop the door away from the body. it opens the lock but the passenger has to shoulder the door open themselves..... a few of my weaker (read female) passengers often have trouble getting out. how do i fix that?

Yes, 12 quid and a few pence mate.

Mine is in black, part number is 3B2 867 172 E 5E2. Fitting it tomorrow, weather permitting!

I had exactly the same wear problem on my Audi A4 a few years ago, the handle was worn out (same material!) by 60k miles.
