Skoda MFD replacement

Featured Replies

Hi guys time to pick your brains again, I got a works bonus and for once i am gonna spend it on me and not the house or kids! I would really like to know what you guys think of this http://www.timelesslong.cn/Simplified/ProductView.asp?ID=364&SortID=74 would this still maintain the piccy of the front and rear parking sensors like a proper MFD2 would. Is the spec any good, I am not really an electrically or ICE minded guy, any advice positive or negative would be appreciated.

Hi,

I spent far more time than I should have looking around at these sort of units and in the end went for the simpler and less sexy Pioneer f310-bt as it does what I need, my poverty spec Octy doesn't have much in the way of integration needs, and radio sound quality was top of my priorities rather than fancy features. Don't get me wrong though I have had Chinese units before and was really tempted.

For more info that you would ever want look at the (enormous) threads on the AS7608 and W6050 at http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=15.

The 'King Cobra' unit found varously on ebay also seems *very* interesting if you are that way inclined and don't need full integration.
