thats a lot of money.

you might have to have it re appolstered after,

Have you tried raising the seat a little?

Mine had a really bad squeak, squeak, squeak over every ripple.

Yer tried the raising of the base but the squeal is deffo coming from the lower part of the back frame, just below the lumber support. Heard it is a common issue so hence the feelers goin out to see if anybody has replaced or repaired theirs ?

Fitted coilovers today and the poxy squeak returned lmao

I hope you find out a solution, I'll be watching this with interest now

done the bottom part of the seat but not the back, care with the leather as its a tight fit on the frame

What's involved with doing the bottom part? I've got a deformed side bolster which I'd like to sort, so need to take the cover off and replace the bolster foam....

Or do I take it along to a specialist and have it mended?

just to confirm its the side of the base thats deformed?

Its not too hard.....

Firstly seat removal required, then turn seat upside down.

You have to take the leather/mesh cover off the base at the bottom (unclip), you should then be able to remove the entire base bit you sit on.

New base is about £65, you then have some rods/clips that run through the inside of the leather/mesh cover that lock themselves into the foam base forming a square on the inside of the mesh part of the base, this is a complete fker to do and requires patience and a lot of care as you can damage the seat cover if not careful.

Then put all back together in reverse.

If that doesnt make sense pm me and i will give you my number to explain things better if it helps!

I wouldnt pay anyone to do it, but then i dont anyway if i can help it! I get the impression from your car that you know what you are doing so you should not have too much trouble.
