Seriously thinking about getting an Octavia Estate Elegance, I'm currently in the information gathering mode!

The fog light cluster underneath the front bumper I always though looked a bit odd.

But after viewing this video on youtube

it looks like the fog light cluster contains DRLs and fog lights.

Is this correct and is it switched on for the UK models?

Been answered a few times recently.

Not switched on as standard. A clued up dealer can switch them on in various formats. I asked for front DRL plus tail lights.

Can then be switched off and on using indicator stalk as per manual. I'm talking non Maxidot.

Just to confirm, if you have Maxidot you can then do this yourself?

I expect if you wait around a bit a nice friendly member of this forum who has VCDS/VAG-COM maybe able to help you out.

I'll arrange for your car to be tweaked with VCDS once you order one
