I have joined the masses

Featured Replies

I fitted some new discs and pads the other day.

The pads that I opted for were EBC Reds, which I am quite pleased with really. I had read quite a few negative reviews about them on here but had also heard that they have recently been updated using a new ceramic compound which is much more effective than the previous compound that was used. It's a definite improvement on the stock pads anyway.

The only problem I have found is that the pads look a bit silly sat inside green calipers, sort of like something you would expect to see at Christmas.

So anyway...I have joined the masses and painted my calipers red...yes yes, very original I know ;) but I already had the paint from years ago and it goes better with my new pads (I think so anyway)

What do you think?

Red is the new green

Haha you traitors!

I demand that you go out and get some green tyres to make up for this anti-green assault!

Both look okay to me. What I'm more impressed with is the cleanliness of your wheels. They look to be in amazing condition. ;)

Thanks :)

To be honest that is one of the better wheels. The car is a 51 plate so a couple of the wheels have started to bubble :( . I intend to get them sorted.

Unfortunately there is no miracle wheel treatment I am using, just making sure I clean them every week without fail to stop the dirt and brake dust sticking too much.
