Hi people,

I just brought 10 led lights, these exact ones

Now i put 2 in my interior light and 2 in my number plate, since doing this the interior light stays on and does not switch off when you lock the car.

Ive changed back to standard bulbs but still does it!!!

Urgent help would be highly appreciated, im fresh out of ideas !!!

Have you flicked the switch to permanantly on on the interior light? If you have then thats one hell of a fail lol

Someone with vag-com could help you resett , or try removing battery terminals both, leave off for half hour and reconnect . Turned engine over on my Lexus without plugs, when put them in and started engine warning light came on . after doing this ,hunky dory . worth a try

I have made sure it is switched to door mode not on all the time.

Was hoping not to remove battery terminals but dont think im going to have much choice.

Sometimes just wish things would work and go right!!

Problem solved, and how annoying after everything i said the switch wasnt completely in thr right place!!!! Gave it a wiggle and presto !!

How much of a t**t do i feel !!

As you can see from the pic didnt have the desired effect as the festoon bulb in the middle has 2 leds and shines alot whiter than the the single led.

Still better than standard.

I changed my interior lights to LEDs. Really shines up those white vRS seats at night

Which bulbs did you put in the reading light?

Sorry just read that properly, the main light was the link above. The reading lights are the link at the top.

If you get them I never realised they only work one way round, so pop them out turn round and coolio.

Numberplate lights, sidelights and interior lights all led now.

Gona add some in the boot now to brighten it up
