Hi,

I bought Eibach FR ARB anti roll bar 1.8t v5 gti anniversary mk4 from ebay and tried to fit it into my Skoda Octavia VRS. However, the link arms are to long from my car and the ones on the bar are from VW Bora and they are to short.

the code on the bar is eibach q/t 41 85 005 01

Have a bought a wrong part?

Yes , the vRS and MK4 Golf 2wd are not the same front ARB

sell it on the mk4 forum or on seat cupra.net then buy an r32 front arb which will fit the vrs

Nope that won't fit either as it is the same design as for the golf you listed earlier,

Our VRS's need the same design ARB as the R32 or Audi S3 or Seat Leon Cupra R.

All those ARB have the ARB Drop links connected to the Suspension strut and not from ARB to wishbone.

This is the ARB for the Octy VRS labelled as item 2A with it's part number highlighted. I have also added the pic of the standard Octy ARB which is item 2 of which is the same design you purchased that is not the correct one.
