My steering has started behaving strangely.

For the last 1000 miles or so the left front wheel bearing has been on its way out, not got round to sorting it yet.

Today the steering has become very stiff. It no longer centres itself and when steering both left and right it sticks and needs more force than normal to turn back to straight.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Car seems to be handling fine otherwise

Steering feels like there's something binding and not allowing it to move freely...

any more ideas?

A common problem is the power steering pump...check for leaks
