Hello, New member with a VW 2.5 TDI engine code ACV.

I had to replace the oil pump as the hole for the timing belt tensioner had worn so tensioner couldn't be tightened properly, is new pump identified by VW part number, since putting back together, engine knocks a little which maybe timing out slightly as when engine speed increases to 1000 rpm it sounds better.

Oil pressure light flashes when you rev engine up.

will be trying new sensor tomorrow and check altenator wiring as I have heard that could be it?

can anyone give me any ideas?
