Workshop manuals on DVD Rom

Featured Replies

Having always used Haynes manuals, I am curious to know if any of you briskodians have purchased and used this type of workshop manual?

Are they as good as they look?

Using them, very very very nice material. Very complicated to install & use sadly.

Check out my 'How to' manuals in the technical guide section. They are made with screenshots on the DVD workshop manuals.

I have one. The particular one I have though I can not make it work on WIndows 7. Had to set up a XP machine specifically to use it. Guides are ok, take a bit of faffing to find what your looking for. Not as good as a Haynes manual though for simple straight forward instructions, but definatly better than nothing.

HTH

Whereabouts did you get it from, if you don't mind me asking?

Bought it from ebay, just search for Superb workshop manual. :)

Yeah have seen those, just wondered if it was the same thing.

Cant remember who of the sellers i chose, but i do remember i paid 5 quid for it. Maybe you can search for the price at least? Dunno.

5 quid does seem about the right price. Like I say though, check for Vista/Win 7 compatibility if you are running that.

The one I got was 2 DVD's worth, one with the program on and one with SKoda specific work shop manuals (program deals with most VAG stuff if you have the relevent workshop disk) - Think its called Elsawin the one ive got
