Im about to order my Yeti Elegance 1.2 TSI, ive picked muscovado with Gobi sand leather. Having seen Yeti,s in europe ive noticed they have a false wooden strip on the dash...it replaces the silver strip.
I have been in contact with Skoda cz and had an interesting e-mail back...( Each Skoda importer decides on his own what cars, equipment and technical features will be offered in his country ) I them contacted Skoda uk..and then was told, after research Skoda uk as found no market fo said product!!

I have to ask as to why show the Yeti at launch, car mags, tv reports with the said false wood. I ask if i could have the part no and was told its not avl in the uk!
Does anyone know if i could get this item or at least something better that the silver strip....it does not go well with the sand leather colour.

Thanks for this, having looked at Skoda.ie website i can see that the Yeti is as sold in Europe, the Yeti Elegance ( Experience ) can be had with all types of leather ! and choices of trim...see we get the short straw again!
