I am just thinking about it for when mine goes, as its easier and cheaper than a K04. and I dont want to go BT really as I dont see the point in all thoes horses in a FWD car for every day drives to work.

I am doing 95 mile a day now to get from Cardiff to Bristol for work. I just cant bring myself to get rid of the vRS so I am planning ahead for when something goes.

Looks alright mate, I would budget £400-500 on top of that to get a custom map that will make sure it doesn't boost past what they've recommended - unless your current mappers will give you a discount to just change your map?

It says you would need a diff TIP? is that just a bigger one ie Neuspeed one or one for the K04

The K04 one is bigger anyway IIRC. From the description it sounds like the whole compressor side is based on K04 parts but then the ebay ad says a TIP from a K03S will fit? Probably best to clarify it with them.

You might find that a genuine Audi or Seat K04 TIP is almost as expensive as a Neuspeed one anyway.

But if its a k03s housing then they surely cant just make the intake hole bigger?

I have a Neuspeed (EBAY copy) one on there as it was easier than the Forge TIP or similar to fit. big diff in size tho.

thats actually a hybrid, and they got their map sorted ready for you

its about the £2k mark fitted i iirc

its still on my todo list

but the todo lists funds have been eaten lol
