My previous vehicle, a FIAT Punto, needed a new exhaust regularly. The factory fit lasted 3 years and the subsequent kwik-fit items about 2 years a piece. My 1999 Octavia will be 11 in September and is still on it's original exhaust which appears to have been made from scaffolding. Do they ever rust or wear out, and would a kwik-fit replacement have anything like the same life span?

The exhaust on my old 1999MY was the original when I sold it in March. No sign of any leaks.

they are made from decent stuff lol,

ones form kwik fit n others are made to last as long so that you go back for another.
