guys, i have a 1.3 skoda felicia, my second one (love em!) and i always did a oil change at 5-6 thousand miles. But noticed witht eh original hand book it states 10,000 miles?

I'm sure haynes manual states 5-6 0000??

If it is like any other car, as the manufacturer plays with the engine and upgrades it, they increase the service interval.

My current Toyota manual says 12k service, but the manual in my PREVIOUS version of the SAME car said 8k service.

Personally? Change it when it starts getting a bit dark.
