I have looked through most of threads on ICE, but i still can't find answers to my problems.

1. Can the standard skoda multi changer be used with any other make of HU?

2. If not, can the Multi changer leads be used with another multi changer?

3. What is required for a replacement HU, i.e. do i need a seperate booster on the ariel?

I am asking this because i have a 10 disc sony multi changer, leads and HU from my Golf and i would like to tyhe Octy.

Any help would be grately recieved.

3) Yes , an aerial adaptor and possibly a ISO wiring adaptor depending on the stereo.

I was hoping that wouldn't be the case. Just as well i held onto the leads from the sony multichanger.

Is it difficult to wire in the booster for the ariel? does it need a seperate power suply?

I'm not into wiring at all, and if its anything more than just swapping wires, adapters or HUs, then i will have to get someone else to do it.

My local Dunmorris fitted my last unit and multichanger, so i might ask them for their opinion and available options. Do you know if dunmorris are any good?

The aerial adaptor just goes inline with the aerial connector and has an extra wire that you need to connect to 12v.
