fabia vrs has been stood for nearly a year. Checked the levels yesterday and started her up, left her idling for 10 minutes and then drove her round the block, the turbo wouldnt spool up, went round again but still the same.

left for another ten minutes and third time no problems, turbo seemed fine. Pulled up back at home and left the car idling for another five minutes (coolant light started flashing) turned her off and popped the hood and no coolant, well below the minimum.

Any ideas?

Could be any number of places. How long is it since you last checked the coolant level? It could be that it has been leaking slowly over a period of time. I would start by topping the coolant up and checking the hoses.

it was the radiator, with being stood for so long it must have corroded :'(

Just another job to add to the list i suppose.
