In december my old crap car gave up the gost and so i ended up looking for a cheap replacment at my local car auction.

On the 2ed time there i see a skoda hiding down a small side part and right away something about it got me.

Looked immaculate, So how come no1 has had it already :-D as its been up for 2 week and no1 has got it.

So im now thinking there must be something roung with it lol but a stay there all day wating for this car to come up and i can get a fast look at it and see if there is anything roung.

Now i need a pee be there most of the day and need to go Arrrrrr thats better

I get back out and Oooo **** its there and some are bidding on it Fuxxxxxxxx so quick look and Arrr now i see y no1 takes it the abs and ars lights are on :'( .

So do i or dont i hehe,fxxx it take a chance and i bid and no1 out bids me but the guy taking the action tells me its still a bit low but he will see what he can do.

30 Min later he comes back a tells me i have got it at Yay me. (hope them lights dont bite me in the ass)

So take it home and over the next week get it fixed all that was rong was some longitude sensor what cost me 100 ish.

So now 4 mouths on and im still very happy and all is fine

And the car is a skoda octavia 1.8t elegance 4x4 with just over 40k on it.

Bit of a long story sry

Going to put Weitec Hicon GT Coilover on it and get some 17' weels and some other stuff.

No 1 sead at the time that when you get this car your just wont to put more stuff on it i got the bug now. (Damn you skoda) lol

All i did befor taking the pic was give it a wash ans polish :-) how you see it is as i got it :-).

Only thing i was thinking of changing on the inside is having the center parts and door cards redon it black leather to match the rest? what you think?

Can lower it a lot more but that will do for now till i get my 225/40/18'' on it.

Forge Motorsport FMAUTB2 Adjustable Rear Tie Bars and get then set right 1st.

But happy with how it rides (not bummy and not harsh)

That to dpmperformance for the help :-) you will be getting my order for the tie bars next week.

yup lowering that much means you prob need the tie bars, get em on sooner rather than later as you may ruin your rear tyres if you leave it too long. KW do these too by the way iirc.

ps next best thing you can do to the 4x4 even before remap is arbs, either R32 (which fit with minor modification to the rear wheel well) or H&Rs which are a LOT more expensive but are aweome. Think Octimark was selling his r32 arb setup in the forsale section....

What do you think are the better 1s to go for ?

well the forge are good, have seen them in person as my friend has them on his 4x4 however i like kw stuff too and am sure they are just as good too, recon they forge are easier to get though so maybe those..

yes you are right best thing is take you time do research and wait for a bargain to come up, a good ideas is to try looking at german ebay (ebay.de) i got my eibach rear arb on there (barely used) for 36 euros!

a lot of germans will ship and it doesnt cost that much.

maybe not the whole door card or all of that tan down the middle of the cabin may look out of place imo, maybe better to black the center bits of the door cards (the white bits on vrs doors)
