Has anybody got any recommendations for speaker upgrades as my speakers fart if there is any bass in a song! I'm not going down the route of upgrading origional head unit and multichanger I just want to get better sound without spending a fortune and they must fit in place of existing speakers

thanks for any suggestions

Have you done the mod to increase the bass on the standard speakers?

It involves taking the speaker out and cutting some of the foam weatherseal from the door, so the spaeker can 'breathe' better. Makes a massive difference..

As standard, there's no air space behind the speaker, so it can't move enough to create any bass. Cut away the foam and it uses the whole door as a speaker enclosure effectively.
