Yellow H3 Bulbs

Featured Replies

Hello,

Im not sure which section this should be so I shall give a stab here. Im looking for some yellow H3 bulbs for high beam and fog for the car. My brother has PIAA ones which are v nice and are much better for dark A/B roads, however I am not planning to pay £40-50 for a pair of bulbs :wonder:. Alternatives I have found are these:

Ring - AllWeather H3 Bulbs £15 inc P+P

Osram - All Season H3, £21.45 inc P+P

There are many others which offer 100w versions but fear that it will melt the connectors v quickly.. Oh and its illegal ofc..

Would like some advice on where/what/which ones to get if possible. Googling hanst helped much (hate new stupid google format).

Ring bulbs if I was buying

I used H4 Osram All weather plus and they were excellent.

My experience of the two mentioned above was that the ring lasted a very short time and as such I'd take the osram every time.

Do you know where you can get yellow H7 bulbs?

Lol doh, one vote for each..

I have also found a Japanese brand called Kobo

Ebay link

Also an american/Japanese brand called Nokya?

Not sure if thats any good, again google fails now.. so no luck on finding reviews..

Not sure if H7's, but Kobo brand seems to have them too.. (ebay).

I chose the Osram for a good life (H4) and a better colour over the ring if that helps.

The better colour was not down to colour per se, but down to the fact that they reflected less off heavy rain and dense fog that I used to drive through.

Went for the Osram option, apparently they have a blue tint round the edges which looks quite interesting.. Now to decide to put it on high beams or fogs.. Will let you know the results
