fitted skoda ones to my fabia estate. At rear arches paint was being worn away from rear lower wheel arch. Easy to fit with a little wash up liquid to help them slide into place.

Did install original octavia mudflaps today by DIY. Got mudflaps from dealer for something around 25 euro.

Both front took me 5 min each. Rear ones required to take away wheels. But anyway I spent lest then 45 min with coffee break for all 4. You need only 1 torx screw driver.

Definitely. Not just for protection. They look better with mudflaps all round.

I fitted front ones to my black FL vRS a few weeks ago - they are quite subtle, but do the job of stopping mud splattering the front doors. Easy to fit - just turned wheel to full lock and used a torx screwdriver to unscrew a few screws. Not done back ones yet as involves taking the wheels off (and I'm not sure if they fit properly on a vRS)

I dont know why they are not fitted as standard on the Octy 2 Scout ,most 4X4 's have them as standard. <BR>I have fitted them on the front only because that is where the door paint can get damaged, the back do not fit well, and do not offer much more protection because of no wheel turning, and the black bumper on the Scout is less likely to suffer damage.

Rear flaps came factory fitted on my one month old Octavia 4x4.

I don't spose someone could post a few pictures up of your car with them, esp anyone with a octy II in race blue! ;)

I'd have mudflaps on my Scout - if Skoda offered them.

If there is one model in the range that would benefit from them then surely that would be the off-road version - the Scout!
