Does anyone have one of these? having problems getting the satnav to refresh quick enough to show my proper location, I could have gone over a round-about and be half a mile up the road before it locates me again, would like it to move in real time.

the maps are old 2004/05 which could be the problem? it finds a good 8 satellites most of the time

Also I would love to change the warm-up screen from VW to Skoda if at all possible.

there could be some beers involved for the nice person who can sort this for me!

It should update in real-time. Newer maps might help, especially iof you are driving on roads where it doesn't know where you are. Also - is it a Skoda DX (ie. Version G) or a VW/Ford/SEAT/AUdi MFD Ver. D as I though they didn't work right in a Skoda and it had to be a Version G?

I thought it is the version D but looks the same as version G?

As per my Pm. Try checking the gala settings (sorry no idea how you do that). Or maybe contact a stero place/shop that might know how to check the settings. I think it could be in some kind of default mode. I've read a few posts about changing the settings to suit the vehicle and then letting the unit recalibrate itself.

Its defo something connected to the gala settings/overide but I dont know what you need to connect to cancel the overide and get everything working correctly again. :S

Still struggling, I've had a good read through all the links (cheers for that ) but still no closer, plus now my indicators are speeding up and then slowing down when I put them on :(
