electric seat memory

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Sometime ago, the drivers seat electric memory has become somewhat of a PITA.

When we first got the car (9months ago) all you had to do was push one of the buttons & release it, & the seat would move into the memory position.

For sometime now, you have to hold the button in to get the seat to continue moving to the correct position.

Maybe I'm just not doing it right anymore???

I forget if this should be done with or without keys in ignition, or, with or without engine running...

Help please?

Cheers,

Pete.

The memory on the seat only works with the ignition off IIRC, if the door is closed then you have to keep your finger on the button but if the door is open then all you should need is one touch.
