As expected really, slightly faster, slightly less economical than the 1.2....

Some people may feel it's worth it depending on the price difference, in CZ it works out about £770 more than the 1.2.

I expected that 1.4 would have been more economical than 1.2 due to the weight - power ratio.

on the contrary this confirms that 1.2 is well dimensioned for our monster.

Intresting to see that it also mentions 2lt TDI 4x4 DSG!
