OK If you have just ordered your Scout have a look at the new brochure. In the factory fitted optional equipment for Scout it says :

LED daylight running lights, Auto dimming rear view mirror, light assistant and rain sensor £285

But in the standard equipment over 4x4 it just says :

Light Assistant (coming home,

leaving home and tunnel light)

Does this mean that if you have not specced the LED's you dont get the dimming mirror and auto wipers ?

In the old brochure under standard equipment over 4x4 it says :

Light assistant and rain sensor

Yes - this looks strange to me - I like the rain sensor and dimming mirror, but don't want the LED running lights. This was OK under MY2010 but apparently not under MY2011, although the brouchure is confusing. I emailed my dealer and she wasn't able to shed any light on this. Seems odd or indicative of cost cutting to drop the options in this way. The packaging of options together reminds me of Ford's Climate Packs... and I don't like it!

Maybe worth giving Skoda a call Les ? Not a problem for me as I've ordered the lights but this could account for them been on the steep side.

I could live without the auto wipers but I would really miss the dimming mirror.....
