YAY! Exhaust

Featured Replies

I finaly found a stainless custom exhaust place in west brom that can custome build me a new cat back system and suply a cat for less than £400 thats prety good i think as skoda quoted me £400 for just the cat!! B):giggle::thumbup:

Btw watch out and ask them if the cat is E approved as I work at a custom exhaust place and we got told by our supplier for materials and cats that all cats have to be E approved if we are fitting them to a car newer than 2001. See usually we can put any new cat on and fabricate it to fit and we usually order bulk of so many cats but vosa came down as well and checked we were putting E approved cats on! Now we can see no difference at work apart from the price a normal cat would cost us about £98 quid and a E approved would be £286 so we were shocked!

Now in the end it's upto you but I thought you mite want to ask about the cat as we were told if we fit a non approved cat to something newer than a 2001 it would fail MOT now skoda's price won't be that far off and does sound like a approved one.

Hope this helps……
